Margaritas Restaurant

Great time at the restaurant with a school mate of mine. Good steaks are fairly common but a great one will remind you every 2 weeks. And I had a great steak - the 500g Tbone. Chilled atmospheres, and great staff that check on there patrons without constantly being in your face :)

Food was excellent. Would have given them a 5 star, but we waited for just over an hour for our food. Atmosphere lovely.

Superb meal, very good service and a welcoming host. The menu certainly has many option to suit different palates. The vast sauce menu was a wonderful surprise.Will definitely return. Teeny request: cloth napkins instead of paper serviettes to complement the way above average dining experience. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

The place looks very cosy and romantic, just wish they had high ceillings to make the place feel more open. After some time and with more people sitted in, it got a bit loud because the tables are too close to one another

We did a wine-and-food pairing. At R350pp, this was exceptional value for money. The wine was out of the ordinary (ave R400 per bottle) and matched perfectly with the 4 different courses it was presented with. Our waiter Keanu was attentive and clearly takes pride in his work. Overall a fantastic experience.

One of the best restaurants that I've ever eaten at. At first glance you might think to yourself that it's a bit expensive if you only look at the prices. But if you compare the prices of their steaks for instance with Spur, then it's almost similar, but you get very proper veggies along with your choice of chips, mash or baked potato, where as by spur you can only get one side of choice. The service at Margaritas is exceptional, as you come in, the owner greets you and take you to a table (we had a booking for between 12:30 and 13h), and once the waiter comes, he/she introduce themselves in a friendly and proper manner. During the course of time the owner will also walk between the tables and check that everything is still well, as the waiters will also come check on their tables as needed The food was also very exceptional. My dad had a 500g T-bone, and me and my mom each had a 300g speciality fillet (can't remember the name, but it's 3 pieces of fillet on a hot plate, which comes with a sauce of your choice). It's really quality. Those fillets was so soft, that the steak knife cuts through it with one slice movement as if it's a piece of butter, without tearing the meat. So the prices might be close to Spur, but quality is so much better really. Here you get more than you pay for. They have cheaper meals as well like salads or schnitzel, whereby you can get a away with between R100-R150 per person, including drinks We might not have gone if I didn't have a voucher, which I've won from Radio Rosestad, as we barely ever go to eat out. But I will definitely recommend this restaurant for proper meal if you want to go eat out
